Smallville: Rerun

Hmmm.. back during my university live, i CONSTANTLY downloading movies, dramas, animes, manga and more..my hard disk was full of entertainment than education. huhu.. It was free, fast and usually without virus, coz just download it from out Intranet..ahaks.

When start working, no more free ways to download 24/7. huhu. so just resort to my bro n sis since they were under Telekom (MMU and Kolej Telekom).

so I copied 7 seasons of Smallville from them, and watch if had some spare time.
getting older,huhu..during U-life, I can finish watching whole season in few days...

so u can imagine, how big my laptop memory taken for that 7 seasons. so after watched it,i delete it. free up space, that's what I always do..

tapi sedihnya..
I was watching 615, and quickly delete it after done watching it.
I dont know how I accidentally delete the WHOLE FOLDER of Smallville Season 6..aiyoookkk..

Earth Hour: My Stand

Waaa..some comments already pouring in.

To Atreyu, Najwan..

Pls understand I didnt at all slam the concept of Earth Hour.
I'm actually slamming the people who're going to support Earth Hour, but with their sneaky way. Or maybe just signing up for fun.

Ive of course sign up to Earth Hour the 1st moment I heard bout it.That's y i edited the title for my previous post

But ever since Ive signed up, I've heard and read how some Malaysian intend to "fulfill" Earth Hour. Yeah, they're kinda making fun of it. So, with my posts, I hope those who've signed up, will understand the meaning to conserve energy. This is not a publicity stint. Not a mere gimmick.

Do it for the sake of Mother Earth.
Understand why Earth Hour is introduced.
And I hope Malaysian gov wont have some kind of celebration, coz Ive heard come countries have fireworks displays and performances-that consumes a LOT more energies.

So, for those who've signed up, pls do it on a daily basis-regardless of time, and dont restrict to switch off the lights.

Why I Wont Support Earth Hour 100%

Previously, Ive shared some of the "smart" ways to "support" Earth Hour.

Here's why I dont think so I'm going to support Earth Hour solely.

Coz ive already saving electricity monthly. My bills are free coz I keep it under RM20/month. Usually around RM 15-18 only. (Malaysian gov waived off the bills for below RM20)

I'm using laptop. I never continuously charge my lappie while using it. I'll charge only when the battery is low, and quickly plugged off when it is fully recharged.

I always switch off the lights and other switched when not using it.

I dont let my radio create a background music when trying to sleep.

I dont continuously charging my handphone.

Ive stopped downloading non-stop. Just copy from my brothers.hehe..They'll always download everything I ever need.

So, I dont see any need to support Earth Hour specifically on 1 day.
Ive been doing it daily. =) I will not stop after Earth Hour.

So for others, I applaud if u support Earth Hour heartily. and dont stop on that 1 particular day. Dont brag about supporting it, when u keep on wasting energies before and after that hour.

I dont Support Earth Hour

I'm not going to support Earth Hour.
WHY?

Acually I'm torn between supporting it- coz I know the good intention in it.
But later Ive decided I'm not going to support and just follow the "trend".

Yeah, I use the word "trend" becoz I know some of the bloggers are just displaying it but will not fulfill it heartily.

Here's why-what Ive heard so far:

• some already planning to go out of the house,and lepak to any wi-fi spot
• plan to go shopping.
• balik kampung,so electricity at their hse is off, but not at their parents.
• plan to switch off the lights, but not tv, aircond,laptop that continuously downloading anime/muvis etc..

Sneaky eh? actually, I think there are lots of ways some ppl will do to "support" Earth Hour, but not understanding the real intention.

I think lights off during Earth Hour is good for big buildings-if they turn off the lights, it will greatly have an impact. If it can be a daily practice, it should be really good.

I also think for domestic, ppl should do more than just lights off. Esp those who keep their PCs on for 1 week straight to download/torrent.And not just during Earth Hour.

So Malaysian and anybody from other countries- if u want to support Earth Hour, pls do it accordingly. Don't waste any other energies while trying to save by lighting off. And do it on a daily basis if possible.

On my next entry, I'll post the reasons why I'm not supporting Earth Hour.
