Oh I had fun thanks to Tourism Selangor for #TSDayOut at Darul Ehsan Medical Centre (DEMC). This is my first time joining it, and I'm blessed to be part of our medical tourism.
Darul Ehsan Medical Centre (DEMC) introduces the hospital boutique concept to Malaysia and believe in not just corrective, but preventive treatment. I really love their philosophy:
We almost didnt want to leave, the food was yummylicious! But we were then escorted to our main agenda, to DEW Wellness Centre. Here, we get health screening analysis and also also dermatology treatment. However, only 6 participants were selected to underwent Laser Aesthetic Treatment -Skin Rejuvenation due to time constraint. Others were given vouchers to do it at a different time. I'm lucky to be consulted by the dietitian based from the health screening report. Me is fatty bam-bam!
Then a personalized tour to introduced us on what else is offered at DEMC. Perghhh, I'm impressed with the Pediatric Ward and Executive Wards and Suites. DEMC really strive to offer boutique experience to their patients - I can overheard others mistakenly mentioned "hotel" instead of hospital! Too bad I can't view the suites since we were told they have different theme.
Lastly makan time again (sedap!) and prize giving to those who captured best pictures of DEMC. I didnt win, me is sad..
Lucky me to be able to snap a picture with the CEO of DEMC: Dato' Dr. Omar bin Abdul Hamid. A very sempoi leader I must say. DEMC should start their Instagram account - social media is really powerful Dato'!
You were born with great foundation, we are here to enhance it.We were first given a briefing from Tourism Selangor and DEMC representatives. After an insightful introduction, shoot to a healthy breakfast at DEMC Sutera Lounge. Wallawei, just see the pictures. This is so unlike the normally dull patients' food right? This is a gourmet buffet offered by DEMC; Sutera Lounge offered to their privileged Sutera Lounge Card Member. More on it here: Sutera Lounge DEMC.

On a personal note, I am no stranger to DEMC. It is like my family's hospital. Few of my family members had been admitted here, my nephews were born and treated here. So far, not much complain-we were really treated promptly and courteously. The only fuss we ever made here is because the hotel hospital were FULLY BOOKED! So their ongoing project to open women and kids wings with 175 beds right across the hospital is very much appreciated.
So thank you again Tourism Selangor and Darul Ehsan Medical Centre (DEMC) for the fantabulous opportunity! Never knew an outing to hospital could be so much fun and laughter! Looking forward for next #TSDayOut!
