Smallville: Rerun

Hmmm.. back during my university live, i CONSTANTLY downloading movies, dramas, animes, manga and more..my hard disk was full of entertainment than education. huhu.. It was free, fast and usually without virus, coz just download it from out Intranet..ahaks.

When start working, no more free ways to download 24/7. huhu. so just resort to my bro n sis since they were under Telekom (MMU and Kolej Telekom).

so I copied 7 seasons of Smallville from them, and watch if had some spare time.
getting older,huhu..during U-life, I can finish watching whole season in few days...

so u can imagine, how big my laptop memory taken for that 7 seasons. so after watched it,i delete it. free up space, that's what I always do..

tapi sedihnya..
I was watching 615, and quickly delete it after done watching it.
I dont know how I accidentally delete the WHOLE FOLDER of Smallville Season 6..aiyoookkk..



So Ive to watch Smallville Season 7, and unfortunately, I only have till 709.. =(
So currently watching 709.
after this, dunno whether want to see Smallville Season 8 that I've copied early this year. or wait till I get back home to copy the remaining series I've lost.

Earth Hour: My Stand

Waaa..some comments already pouring in.

To Atreyu, Najwan..

Pls understand I didnt at all slam the concept of Earth Hour.
I'm actually slamming the people who're going to support Earth Hour, but with their sneaky way. Or maybe just signing up for fun.

Ive of course sign up to Earth Hour the 1st moment I heard bout it.That's y i edited the title for my previous post

But ever since Ive signed up, I've heard and read how some Malaysian intend to "fulfill" Earth Hour. Yeah, they're kinda making fun of it. So, with my posts, I hope those who've signed up, will understand the meaning to conserve energy. This is not a publicity stint. Not a mere gimmick.

Do it for the sake of Mother Earth.
Understand why Earth Hour is introduced.
And I hope Malaysian gov wont have some kind of celebration, coz Ive heard come countries have fireworks displays and performances-that consumes a LOT more energies.

So, for those who've signed up, pls do it on a daily basis-regardless of time, and dont restrict to switch off the lights.

Why I Wont Support Earth Hour 100%

Previously, Ive shared some of the "smart" ways to "support" Earth Hour.

Here's why I dont think so I'm going to support Earth Hour solely.

Coz ive already saving electricity monthly. My bills are free coz I keep it under RM20/month. Usually around RM 15-18 only. (Malaysian gov waived off the bills for below RM20)

I'm using laptop. I never continuously charge my lappie while using it. I'll charge only when the battery is low, and quickly plugged off when it is fully recharged.

I always switch off the lights and other switched when not using it.

I dont let my radio create a background music when trying to sleep.

I dont continuously charging my handphone.

Ive stopped downloading non-stop. Just copy from my brothers.hehe..They'll always download everything I ever need.

So, I dont see any need to support Earth Hour specifically on 1 day.
Ive been doing it daily. =) I will not stop after Earth Hour.

So for others, I applaud if u support Earth Hour heartily. and dont stop on that 1 particular day. Dont brag about supporting it, when u keep on wasting energies before and after that hour.

I dont Support Earth Hour

I'm not going to support Earth Hour.
WHY?

Acually I'm torn between supporting it- coz I know the good intention in it.
But later Ive decided I'm not going to support and just follow the "trend".

Yeah, I use the word "trend" becoz I know some of the bloggers are just displaying it but will not fulfill it heartily.

Here's why-what Ive heard so far:

• some already planning to go out of the house,and lepak to any wi-fi spot
• plan to go shopping.
• balik kampung,so electricity at their hse is off, but not at their parents.
• plan to switch off the lights, but not tv, aircond,laptop that continuously downloading anime/muvis etc..

Sneaky eh? actually, I think there are lots of ways some ppl will do to "support" Earth Hour, but not understanding the real intention.

I think lights off during Earth Hour is good for big buildings-if they turn off the lights, it will greatly have an impact. If it can be a daily practice, it should be really good.

I also think for domestic, ppl should do more than just lights off. Esp those who keep their PCs on for 1 week straight to download/torrent.And not just during Earth Hour.

So Malaysian and anybody from other countries- if u want to support Earth Hour, pls do it accordingly. Don't waste any other energies while trying to save by lighting off. And do it on a daily basis if possible.

On my next entry, I'll post the reasons why I'm not supporting Earth Hour.

Part III: Blessed I Am

Last part of my Whining Saga.

I'm still trying to pujuk2 myself.

Telling myself that my frens and my sibling deserve every happiness they received.
And that I'll never know their sufferings, susah senang to achieve what they are now.

Telling myself that I'm bound for greatness, time will tell.

I just need to prioritize, better-handling of my financial, contacting the right person for Biz support and start to plan my path to become entrepreneur.

Will determine when is the best time to quit current job to pursue full-time tuition teacher or be a franchisee..

Need to inject confidence, having fun, travelling to reduce the stress level.

Contacting "lost" frens.
God, I cant believe most of us stay/work in KL/Sgr, but it was so damn hard to set-up for TT session

conclusion? This is a never-ending story. I'm still a grouch, but with a positive mind.
Hope I can pull myself and change to a better person in coming months..

Love? hmmm, quite complicated to say for now..But hoping desperately to be at least engaged by the end of this year..

Part II: Loser I Am

Now I feel such a loser for not earning high enuff after working for 5 years.

I feel so small compared to my other engineering friends-who of course mainly working with Petronas or other top-notch company.

I was green with envy knowing they've been overseas for both jobs and leisure..

I am the brightest in the family, but my brother who almost flunked his SPM and sister my getting higher pay now. oh yeah-both of them are under Telekom (my sis MMU, my bro TM Multimedia College).

I've changed from an outspoken,cheerful girl..to a sad,woeful woman.

I'm not married and not even sure whether my current cik abang is a "strong" figure for me.

I've bigger plans in Education biz, but I've got no moral support nor financial.

I know various ways to make money, but I cant do it on my own. Far too busy with a lot of things, and nobody seems to be able to take over..

Ive missed a lot of my frens' weddings, occasions etc which I really regret.

I also hate to whine and writing all of this-coz some of u might say I'm not grateful.


and of course I hate getting FATTER!

Part I:Glory I Am

this is my 1st emotional posting.
and maybe even 1 of the most honest posting-directly from the bottom of my heart

after almost 28 years, I still feel like a big loser.

WHY?

I was blessed to go to boarding school right after my UPSR.

But I was not involved in anything memorable..

I was blessed with 8As in PMR.
But I made stupid decision to pursue Technical Engineering instead of Science Stream

I got 7 aggregate in SPM trial, landing me offers from MMU, UTP among others.
And I chose UTP to pursue my IT degree. Just bcoz I was afraid to take Pyhsics and Chemistry. and the dream to work with Petronas..

Graduated with 2nd Upper Class-but I felt nothing fulfilling.
IT was not suitable for me, but I doubt if Engineering is the correct choice either.
and I dated such a loser back then.

My family house burnt down after graduating--erasing all my sweetest memories in University.
I stil cant get over the feelings. I dont have pics in my U-life, I dont have pics during my graduation!!

Landed with jobs, good jobs actually right after graduation. Lastly landed as IT Officer for Government (Pegawai Sistem Maklumat). Still it was not satisfying, I know I studied and working in an area not suited for my soul..

and now, where am I?
why I still feel such a loser?

ok, ni my personal opinion of GENG The Movie:
1. of cos very interesting.. animation,suara semua ok. cantik, meletup,very da bom!

2. Bahasa mythical creature Oopet tu aku rasa a bit off sket la..mmg la bahasa asing, tp mcm x brape kena. plak tu aku ni kuat pengaruh anime, so aku rasa mcm byk kali dgr ala2 Japanese, especially "baka" (sape yg xtau, baka means bodoh!")

3. Aku xsangka plak citer ni ala2 ganas2 sket. very good, cuma aku hrp lps ni citer dia bleh buat 2 muvi. 1citer yg mcm happy,citer psl zaman kanak2.. dan 2nd betul2 citer adventure, pertarungan-sbb mmg puas tgk action dlm citer tuh.

4. aku amatla turn off dgn segmen menyanyi ramai2 tuh. bukan apa,citer ni glamer,tp depa x pilih soundtrack yg melekat, yg catchy. alangkah bagusnya klu lagu tu senang budak2 ikut, dan leh jadik tagline jugak. klu iya pun financed by MOSTI, xkan la smpi skema sgt kot lagunya. lagu rakyat banyak catchy per..

"Saya tidak pernah berpikir bisa menjadi bintang dalam sebuah iklan. Kemudian hal ini terjadi," ujarnya.

Ilham bercerita, "Saat saya transit di Malaysia, seorang lelaki mendekati saya. Dia bertanya, apakah anda Barack Obama? Saya sangat terkejut ketika dia yang beriaya-iaya meminta untuk berfoto bersama dan membelikan saya makanan," kata Ilham sambil tersenyum.

Dalam iklan itu dikisahkan, Presiden Gloria Macapagal Arroyo sedang menjamu "Presiden Obama". Namun jamuan itu malah membuat Obama sakit perut.

La..La..La..La @ GreenBox

This is an outdated entry actually.
Me and CikAbang went to Greenbox Bukit Tinggi last wednesday.

My original plan is to go to fatten myself @ ChickenHartz-quite sometime didnt go.
but then I thought better if we go to Greenbox, since I'm heading to Klang that day.
no Greenbox in Puchong, and my 1st visit to Greenbox was at Lowyat.

I like the buffet at lowyat. Crabs, Fish, Chickens, Prawns, Squids- YUMMY!
Ive tried Neway. Food-Not so good. Karaoke- Very good system.



Above were some of what we ate. Not as good as Lowyat. Mainly chicken. Have 1 dish of prawns. No fish, no squids, and of cos no crabs..

So any of u went to Bkt Tinggi Greenbox? coz if this is what they usually serve, I might not go there anymore.

The best part- 2 of us got a room for 10! haha! so spacious, while others cramming in a small room. sang from 5-9pm. total charge almost rm60. worth it, just that ive tasted better at Lowyat's Greenbox.
